# Archive Employees

When an employee leaves the company, you can archive them in Personizer. This way, their data remains stored, but the person will no longer appear in the active overview. Archived employees can be reactivated at any time.

### Archive an employee

1. In the left navigation, under **Settings**, click on **Employees**.
2. Search for the employee using the search field or apply filter options.
3. In the **Action** column, click on the three dots and select **Edit coworker**.
4. In the personnel file, click the three dots in the top right corner and select **Archive user**.

The employee is now archived and no longer appears in the active overview.

### Reactivate archived employees

1. In the left navigation, under **Settings**, click on **Employees**.
2. In the overview, activate the filter **Archived coworkers**.
3. Search for the archived employee.
4. In the **Action** column, click on the three dots and select **Edit coworker**.
5. In the personnel file, click the three dots in the top right corner and select **Activate user**.

The employee is now active again and appears in the overview of all team members.

|| Note: Archiving does **not** delete any data. The employee is only hidden from the active overview and can be reactivated at any time.
