Changes to the Personizer subscription model
Personizer: absence management and time tracking for your company
The Personizer subscription model will be adjusted on 22.04.2024. Find out below what will change for you.
Entry into force of the change to the subscription model
For new customers, the new subscription model will come into force on 22.04.2024.
For Personizer-Essential and Personizer-Professional users, the new subscription model will take effect on the next billing date after 07.05.2024, unless the subscription has been canceled (for new customers after 20.03.2024, the change will come into force on 03.06.2024)..
For Personizer-Basic users, the new subscription model will come into force on 21.05.2024.
All changes at a glance:
The end of the free Basic plan: There will no longer be a free Basic plan. This will allow us to maintain the quality of our services and continuously offer new features and improvements.
Conversion from tier pricing to user pricing: Until now, we have used a tier pricing model based on different levels (e.g. 6–15 employees). In the future, we will switch our subscription model to user pricing. This means that we will charge an additional price for each additional person you manage in your account. We will use the current number of people in your account to calculate your new subscription price (archived persons are not included in the calculation). Switching to user pricing gives you more flexibility, as you can scale your subscription based on the exact number of licenses required in your company. The switch may result in an increase in your current subscription price - depending on whether you were at the beginning or end of the tier in the example above.
Change of plan names: In addition, we are also changing the names of the Personizer plans. The new names will more clearly reflect the functions included and the scope of the respective plan. Basic becomes Starter, Essential becomes Standard, Professional remains Professional.
The new Personizer subscription model
All prices plus VAT. All offers are addressed exclusively to entrepreneurs within the meaning of §14 BGB (German Civil Code).
Example calculation: Müller GmbH currently has 20 active employees in Personizer, 4 more are archived. They use the vacation planning and time recording in the Personizer Essential plan. The last invoice for their annual license was due on 07.01.2024.
For the next invoice after 07.05.2024, Müller GmbH will switch to the new subscription model. They will then use vacation planning and time recording in the Personizer standard plan. The new price is calculated as follows, based on the active 20 employees:
Vacation planner: 20 x €2.70 = €54.00
Time recording: 20 x €3.33 = €66.60
Total price/month: €54.00 + €66.60 = €120.60
Total price/year: €120.60 x 12 = €1447.20
The following invoice on 07.01.2025 will amount to €1447.20.
What will change for Personizer Basic users?
From 22.04.2024, the free Basic plan will no longer be available. We therefore ask all Personizer Basic users to switch to a paid plan by 21.05.2024 at the latest so that they can continue to benefit from Personizer in the future. The data recorded to date will remain unchanged. For all Basic accounts that have not upgraded by 21.05.2024, access for employees will be blocked. Account owners and administrators will continue to have access to the data but will no longer be able to edit it.
What will change for Personizer Essential users?
We will be renaming Essential to Standard on 22.04.2024. In addition, we will switch from tier pricing to user pricing. This means that we will charge an additional price for each additional user you manage in your account. We will use the current number of users in your account to calculate your new subscription price. The change may result in an increase in your current subscription price. For customers, this change will take effect with the next direct debit after 07.05.2024, unless the subscription has been canceled (for new customers after 20.03.2024, the change will come into force on 03.06.2024).
