How do I define the conditions for working time and breaks?

The conditions for working time and breaks help you to better comply with legal and company regulations. The framework conditions make it possible to define specifications for the maximum working hours per day and week, as well as for break regulations.

What settings are possible

Working time

Maximum working hours per day: Define the maximum number of hours that can be worked per day.
Maximum working hours per week: Specify the total number of hours allowed per week.
Maximum working time in one go: Specify how long you can work in one go before a break is required.

Breaks

Timing: Determine after how many hours of work a break is required.
Break length: Specify the minimum duration for a break.
Number of breaks: Define whether the break can be divided into several sections (e.g. two breaks of 15 minutes each instead of one break of 30 minutes).

To set up the conditions

Click on Company in the left-hand navigation bar.
Click on Work Time in the horizontal navigation bar. Here you will find the section General conditions for working time and breaks.
We provide you with some templates here that you can use. In addition to the templates, you can also create new conditions.
By clicking on the Assign condition button, you can assign the appropriate conditions to your employees.

Note: Violations of the conditions are shown in the time sheets with corresponding symbols.
